On October 21, 2025, a $138 annual membership fee was charged to my credit card by Domestika without my consent. On September 20, 2025, I had purchased three courses, and it seems that I was automatically enrolled in a trial period without realizing it. When I noticed the large charge on my card on October 21, I realized what had happened.
As shown in the attached screenshots, even when I do not select any Plus membership, the website automatically adds it. Since I never intentionally subscribed, I had no reason to check the “Orders” section of my profile. The email notification arrived a week late and went to my spam folder. Furthermore, the amount displayed on the website and the amount actually charged to my card are different, which adds to the confusion.
I have not yet completed my courses, and I never authorized or agreed to any membership renewal. I do not accept this unauthorized charge. On October 23, 2025, I contacted Domestika customer service regarding my refund request, but they informed me that no refund would be issued. They also stated that refunds are only available in certain Latin American countries, and that customers in Turkey are not eligible. There is no direct email contact, and their system clearly states that refunds are not processed once charged.
My order number is C50229508T32803255, and I am based in Istanbul, Turkey. This is the first time I’ve faced such an issue. I request that my Plus membership be canceled and that the $138 charged to my card be fully refunded immediately.
