DJI Mini 4 Pro Combo Drone Sensor Failure – Request for Replacement

On January 30, 2025, I purchased a DJI Mini 4 Pro Combo drone from Media Markt Marmara Park. On February 1, 2025, I took it to Şile for a test flight. Before flying, I ensured all firmware updates were completed on January 31, 2025, at Mimaroba Beach.
During the first test, the tracking mode didn’t work at Mimaroba, likely due to insufficient light for the sensors at night. The next day, in Şile, I activated tracking mode via the controller and selected myself as the target. The drone began moving backward but failed to detect a tree behind it, hitting a branch at only 2 meters altitude. I caught the drone mid-air, preventing it from falling.
I returned the drone to Media Markt Marmara Park for a warranty claim and spoke with DJI representative B**** Bey**, who was helpful. However, the store immediately blamed "user error" before even properly assessing the issue. I have over four years of experience and 2,000 flights, so I understand how control and sensors work.
This is clearly a software-related failure, as DJI Mini 4 Pro’s sensors should detect objects within a 12-meter range. I am demanding a replacement, and I will take all necessary steps to ensure my claim is properly handled. DJI must take responsibility for this faulty unit!
