Unauthorized $44 Clarity Check Membership Fee on My Credit Card

December 13, 2025 2:38 PM113

Although I only created an account once on the Clarity Check platform on December 13, 2025, a membership fee of $44 was charged to my credit card without my consent. I did not approve any membership or payment, and I received no notification about this charge either before or after it was processed.

I opened the account through my phone and used the platform solely to look up one person’s phone number. At that time, I was asked to pay a much lower fee of approximately $3, and I definitely did not approve such a high charge. Despite this, my credit card statement shows a charge listed as “clarity check” with the description: “5262901508561876 pn 003642\clarityche0000 00.” I also have a copy of the payment receipt.

I only logged into the platform once and did not initiate any membership or subscription afterward. After noticing the charge, I requested that my membership be canceled; however, I have not received any response to date, and I have been unable to reach customer service. This is the first time I have experienced such a situation, and it has caused both financial harm and a serious loss of trust.

I am requesting a full refund of the $44 charged to me without my knowledge or consent and the complete cancellation of any memberships or subscriptions that may have been opened in my name.
