Unauthorized Google Plant In Charge on My Chime Checking Account

I have a checking account with Chime and discovered an unauthorized charge on my account that I did not approve. On February 28, 2026, a transaction for $8.47 appeared on my statement with the description “Google – Plant In.” I do not know this merchant or service, and I have never knowingly used or subscribed to anything called “Plant In” or any similar Google-related product. When I contacted Chime customer service about this unauthorized charge, I was told to contact the merchant first. However, the merchant is completely unknown to me, and I have no direct relationship or subscription with them, so I am unable to resolve it from my side. I request that this unauthorized $8.47 charge be refunded to my account and that no further payments to this merchant be allowed in the future. I also expect Chime to secure my account against similar unauthorized transactions so that this does not happen again.
