I purchased a brand-new Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max directly from the dealership, expecting quality and peace of mind. However, from the beginning, the vehicle has had a very loud and harsh clutch engagement noise that is simply not normal for a vehicle of this class or price. I’ve taken the car to three separate authorized Chery service centers in Istanbul, and shockingly, each one insisted that the noise is “normal.”
Let me be clear—this sound is anything but normal. It’s disruptive, irritating, and completely undermines the premium experience the Tiggo 8 Pro Max is supposed to offer. I’ve even asked other owners, and many have acknowledged similar complaints. Instead of acknowledging the flaw or offering a fix, the service teams admit the issue is widespread but dismiss it as acceptable. That’s unacceptable.
I’m highly disappointed in both the vehicle and the post-sale support. If Chery knows this is happening in all vehicles of this model and still sells them as-is, that’s not just negligence—it’s a breach of trust with the customer.
I do not recommend the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max to anyone based on my experience. I demand that Chery acknowledge this problem and offer a real solution—not empty excuses.
