I purchased my Chery Tiggo8 Pro in May 2024 and generally enjoy driving it. However, I'm experiencing several issues:
The most significant problem is that the start-stop system isn't functioning. Despite repeatedly reporting this to the service center, they claim they're waiting for a software update that hasn't arrived yet.
The rear parking sensors are malfunctioning. They should change tone as you approach an object and give a continuous signal when you're about to collide. Due to this malfunction, I once lightly bumped into a car behind me.
The instantaneous fuel consumption display is inaccurate. It shows 20 liters even when coasting downhill without pressing the accelerator. It's also incorrect at idle, which leads me to believe the average fuel consumption reading is inaccurate as well.
I believe all these issues could be resolved with a software update. However, when I inquire at the service center, no one knows when this update will be available. There's also no communication from Chery Turkey about this.
It's disappointing that a company that has quickly become the top-selling SUV brand is so unresponsive and reluctant to address customer concerns. They seem focused solely on sales, with little regard for after-sales service, quality, and customer satisfaction.
