I own a 2023 Tiggo 8 Pro Excellent, and I’ve been extremely disappointed with the ongoing software issues—despite supposedly receiving a software update. Several persistent problems remain unresolved. For example, radio station names randomly disappear even though RDS is enabled. I constantly have to reconfigure them.
Even more frustrating, when I shift into reverse while Android Auto is connected, the media system switches to the radio automatically for no reason. These issues may seem minor to some, but in a vehicle released in 2023 and still being sold in 2025, this level of glitchy, unpolished software is simply unacceptable.
The entire infotainment system and digital dashboard need a serious overhaul. I expected more from this brand, especially at this price point. Chery, you need to deliver a proper, comprehensive software fix. This experience has been far from premium, and I demand a real solution—not just a half-baked update.
