CarJet Failed to Return My Deposit on Time

Between 16/02/2025 and 20/02/2025, I rented a vehicle and returned it on 20/02/2025 to Panek Rent A Car in Vienna. On 25/02/2025, the €1000 deposit was refunded to my card. However, on 26/02/2025, €1000 was withdrawn from my card again without any prior notice or request. The transaction was recorded as “26.02.2025 Panek Rent A Car Praha 6 transport -39,930.79.” Despite messaging the Panek Rent A Car representative who received the vehicle at +421 951 907 *** via WhatsApp, I have received no explanation. I urgently expect the return of the €1000 deposit, which has been charged twice. If the refund is not made, I will initiate legal proceedings against your company and Panek in the relevant courts in Vienna and the country where your company is registered.
