CarJet Charged My Deposit Twice After Return—Still No Refund or Explanation
I rented a car through CarJet (voucher ID: cjt-160061838) from February 16 to February 20, 2025, and returned it on time to Panek Rent A Car in Vienna on February 20. On February 25, I received my €1000 deposit back to my card as expected. But shockingly, on February 26—just one day later—the exact same amount was charged to my card again, this time without any notice, explanation, or authorization.
The charge came from “Panek Rent A Car Praha 6,” totaling ₺39,930.79. I immediately contacted the Panek representative via WhatsApp at +421 951 907 476, but they ignored my messages and provided no information whatsoever. I feel scammed and helpless.
