From the moment I bought my Bosch refrigerator, it’s been making extremely loud noises—more like construction machinery than a kitchen appliance. We’ve called service twice. Eventually, one technician admitted the unit had a factory defect and suggested replacing the motor.
We initially declined and contacted Bosch customer service, requesting a full replacement instead. They refused and insisted on repairing the product first, promising to replace it only if the noise continued afterward. We agreed. The motor was replaced, but now the fridge emits a different frequency of noise, still clearly abnormal and disruptive.
Now they’re back to saying, “This is normal,” even though the same technicians once said it was a defect. How is it normal for a refrigerator to be heard from another room? We paid a premium and trusted the Bosch name, but this product has completely failed that trust.
I’m tired of being passed around and gaslighted about what's "normal." Either fix this properly or replace the unit. If Bosch won’t stand behind its product, I’m prepared to take this to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and court if needed. No one should have to live with a refrigerator that sounds like a jackhammer or cicada swarm. Quality has clearly declined—sadly, now I believe it.
