On February 12, 2026, I purchased an Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni robot vacuum cleaner from the MediaMarkt store located in Kayseri Forum AVM Melikgazi. I paid approximately $1,385 USD for the device after the store staff strongly recommended and repeatedly praised this particular model.

Although I used the robot vacuum carefully and regularly, the device suddenly shut itself off after only 45 days of use and never turned on again. After the malfunction occurred, I contacted both the authorized service center and MediaMarkt, and I was told that the product needed to be sent under warranty service.

On March 26, 2026, I returned the product to the Kayseri Forum AVM MediaMarkt store so it could be sent to service. At that time, I clearly stated that I did not want a repair for a product that failed after such a short period and that I specifically wanted a refund instead.

During my visit to the store, the employee responsible for technical service openly admitted that they receive a very high number of complaints and warranty cases regarding this brand and that Ecovacs products are among the most frequently sent devices for repair.

Despite all my concerns and my clear refund request, the product was still sent for repair. Later, I was informed that the motherboard had been replaced and that the device supposedly had no remaining problems, after which it was returned to me.

However, when we brought the robot vacuum back home and set it up again, it became obvious that the device was still malfunctioning. It does not vacuum properly, does not mop correctly, leaks water from underneath, and moves around erratically while attempting to clean random walls, doors, and unrelated areas.

When I contacted service again, I was only given a WhatsApp number and asked to send photos and videos of the issues. Even after providing everything requested, I received no follow-up, no solution, and no meaningful support.

This entire experience has been extremely frustrating and humiliating as a customer. A product costing approximately $1,385 USD should not fail within 45 days, and it is completely unacceptable that the issue still remains unresolved even after motherboard replacement and warranty service. Frankly, it raises serious doubts about how such a product could realistically survive through its full 2-year warranty period.

Regarding this purchase under invoice number 3j820260000006580, I request the full return and refund of the product because it failed in an extremely short time and still does not function properly after repair attempts. I also expect the process to be resolved promptly, without unnecessary delays or customer mistreatment, and with proper consideration for the inconvenience and financial loss I have experienced.

On 12.02.2026 I bought an Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni from Media Markt at Kayseri Forum Mall, it broke within 45 days and was sent for service. Despite my request for a refund, the device was repaired and returned, but it still doesn't work, it drips water and, due to software problems, it cannot properly sweep or mop any area and follows random routes. I have received no response from the service, so I am demanding a refund.
