I booked a SunExpress flight from Antalya to Skopje through Kiwi under booking number 760 966 283. I purchased the ticket in March 2026 for a flight scheduled on May 3, 2026.
On April 5, 2026, I was informed that the flight had been canceled by the airline. Following the cancellation, I immediately requested a cancellation and refund through Kiwi. The total amount I paid for the booking was approximately $923 USD (originally 30,000 TL).
Despite more than one month having passed since my refund request, I still have not received my money back. Throughout this process, I have not been given any clear, transparent, or meaningful information regarding the status of my refund.
Whenever I try to contact Kiwi customer support, I only receive automated AI-generated responses repeating generic phrases such as “we understand your frustration,” without providing any concrete updates or realistic resolution timelines. I was even informed that the refund process could take up to one year, which I find completely unacceptable for a flight that was canceled directly by the airline.
Since the airline canceled the flight and I received no transportation service in return for the money I paid, I fully expect Kiwi to process my refund within a reasonable timeframe instead of delaying the matter indefinitely.
I kindly request that my full payment of approximately $923 USD be refunded to me as soon as possible. I also request clear and transparent communication regarding the actual status of my refund instead of being continuously redirected to ineffective automated responses.
