I purchased a Siemens iQ300 washing machine from the Abdullah Bey store, Balıkesir central branch located on Milli Kuvvetler Street in Balıkesir. The washing machine is only 7 months old, yet for the past 4 months it has been leaking water from the door seal area.

Because the issue started very early in the product’s lifespan and has continued regularly ever since, I strongly believe this is a manufacturing or material defect rather than a user-related problem.

I contacted Siemens customer service regarding the issue, and a service team visited my home today to inspect the washing machine. Despite the appliance still being fully under warranty and the water clearly leaking from the door seal, the service staff claimed that the fault was caused by us and requested payment for the repair instead of processing the issue under warranty coverage.

In addition, no service report number or official inspection document was provided to me after the visit. I find this approach completely unacceptable for a washing machine that is only 7 months old and still under warranty.

I request that my Siemens iQ300 washing machine either be replaced with a brand-new unit free of charge or that a permanent repair solution be provided under warranty without demanding any payment from me. I also expect Siemens to properly review this case and reconsider the unfair claim that this defect was caused by user error.
