I purchased a Bosch Serie 4 washing machine expecting durability and quality from a trusted brand. However, after only one year of use, I noticed rust and peeling paint on the front panel—an issue I’ve now learned is a common problem reported by other users. This is disappointing, especially since my previous washing machine lasted 30 years without any rust. I replaced it with this Bosch model only because it had become noisy, but the quality of this new machine falls far short of expectations.
When I contacted customer service to report the issue, I was told I’d need to pay a ₺700 service fee just to have the machine inspected, even before anyone saw it. Reluctantly, I agreed, hoping this would lead to a solution. However, I’m deeply disappointed and frustrated with the entire experience. A product from such a reputed brand should not have such flaws, and customers shouldn’t have to bear extra costs for what seems like a manufacturing defect. I expect Bosch to take responsibility and resolve this issue promptly.
