WhatsApp Suddenly Disabled My Account With No Explanation
My WhatsApp account was suddenly banned today on my iPhone 16 without any warning or valid reason. When I try to open the app, I receive the message: “This account can no longer use WhatsApp.” I am completely unable to access my account.
Just before the ban, I needed to create a WhatsApp group with approximately 40 participants. While creating the group, the app gave an error, and immediately afterward, I encountered the ban notification screen. Aside from that, I did not send bulk spam messages, use any third-party apps, or engage in any unusual activity.
I have been using WhatsApp with this number for about nine months, and before that, I actively and without issue used WhatsApp with a different number for approximately three and a half years. Despite this history, my account was suddenly closed without any concrete explanation. This has disrupted my communication and damaged my trust in the platform.
When I contacted WhatsApp Support, I only received automated AI responses telling me to wait for a reply, but no clear explanation or solution has been provided. I have not been informed of any specific rule violation.
I request that WhatsApp:
Immediately restore my account access,
Provide a clear and written explanation of the specific reason for the ban,
Ensure that all my chats, media, and account data are preserved,
Offer transparent guidance about what actions may trigger account risk, so that this situation does not happen again.
