No Response From the Hotel For 15 Days After Valet Damage
I would like to express my deep disappointment following my stay at Naz City Hotel in Istanbul. On July 19th, 2025, we entrusted our vehicle to the hotel’s valet service, as advertised in the listed amenities. When the car was returned to us, we immediately noticed a fresh scratch on the front, along with a visible chalk mark. The receptionist who was present acknowledged the damage, touched the area, and photos were taken on the spot. But from that moment on, everything changed. The hotel responded by saying there was no damage, that we were “mistaken”, and even went as far as to imply that we were lying. Despite clear evidence (before/after photos, witnesses, exact dates, suspicious behavior from the valet, etc.), the management refused to take any responsibility. Even worse: after promising a response within 24 hours, no one ever contacted us again. It has now been 15 days. Absolute silence. Not only was our complaint completely ignored, but we were also treated with contempt, with some staff members intentionally avoiding us. The overall attitude was clearly designed to make us look like the ones at fault. What’s most unacceptable here is not just the damage to the vehicle, but the denial, the evasion of responsibility, and the arrogant way we were treated. We were respectful guests, we paid our stay in full, and we did not deserve this kind of treatment or silence.
