Julija Apartment Cancels Booking.com Reservation 6588089342 Citing Renovations

I made a reservation via Booking.com for two people at a property named "Julija apartment" for the dates of September 16–18. I purchased my flight tickets in accordance with the reservation dates and arranged my entire itinerary based on these dates. However, just one week prior to the stay, the property representative notified me that they wished to cancel my reservation under the pretext of renovations.

I observe that current prices in the same area have nearly doubled. This gives me strong reason to believe that attempting to cancel my booking under the guise of "renovations" is actually intended to capitalize on the local price increases, leaving me severely victimized. My reservation number is 6588089342, and I had planned a trip totaling approximately 12,000 TL for two people.

No alternative accommodation was offered, nor was any resolution provided. I am writing this message without even reaching out to Booking.com customer support first, because my primary objective is to make such practices visible to everyone so that others do not suffer a similar hardship. I demand that Booking.com inspect these cancellation excuses and properties much more strictly to prevent these kinds of grievances.
