On August 11, 2025, a charge of ₺32,688 was made to my credit card through Booking, despite the fact that I have never made any reservation with them and do not even have a Booking account. The transaction appears to have been made from Isparta, Turkey. I received no prior notification, confirmation request, or verification alert before the amount was deducted from my card.
When I discovered the charge, I immediately attempted to contact Booking customer service to report the unauthorized transaction. However, I have not received any response or assistance to date. This lack of communication is unacceptable, especially for such a significant amount.
This transaction was not authorized by me in any way. I demand the immediate reversal of the ₺32,688 taken from my account. I also want Booking to urgently investigate how such an unauthorized payment could occur without customer verification. In addition, I will be filing a formal dispute with my bank to block the charge and recover the funds. I expect Booking to take full responsibility and ensure my case is resolved without further delay.
