I had a reservation on Booking.com to rent a car from a supplier called Rent Go in Bursa, Turkey. On the day of pickup, I went there to get the car, and the employee informed me that my driver's license was not 1 year old (11 months). None of this information was mentioned on the rental voucher, which you receive by clicking the blue link (it simply states that a driver must have a valid driver's license). I attempted to file a complaint online with Booking.com and CarRental.com, but both indicated that I couldn't do so until the reservation ended on October 7, 2023. On October 7, 2023, I contacted Booking.com multiple times via email. All the emails stated that there would be no refund, and the cancellation fee would be the full amount, which is almost $500. It is mentioned that if the cancellation occurred at the time of pickup, they would refund the amount after deducting 3 days (the minimum rental charge). I proposed this, but they didn't agree to it. I believe this is a complete fraud and scam by both Booking.com and its supplier, Rent Go. Please inform everyone about these fraudulent companies. Thank you and best regards, Ebraheem.
