Booking.com Listing Still Active After Fire at Glamping Site

106

I am writing to urgently report a serious safety incident at a property that is currently listed on your platform, called Jurassic Airstreams and Domes at Hartridge Springs Glamping. My family and I stayed there on Friday, 27 March, for what was supposed to be a two‑night stay, booked through another company, and we experienced a fire at the property. We are still very shaken up by what happened, and I believe the site is a serious health and safety hazard. Because of this incident, Airbnb has already taken action and shut down the host’s listing there. However, I see that the same place is still being advertised on Booking.com. Given the fire we experienced and the dangerous conditions, I am extremely concerned that other guests could be put at risk if the listing remains active on your platform. My expectation from Booking.com is that you urgently review this property and remove or suspend the listing for Jurassic Airstreams and Domes at Hartridge Springs Glamping to protect future guests. I have been trying to reach someone about this, but have only managed to get through using the online chat, where I have not been able to get proper help or a meaningful response. I am asking that this report be taken seriously and that the listing be removed as a matter of safety.
