Bath & Body Works Dark Kiss Body Cream Smells Spoiled

I purchased Dark Kiss body cream from the official Bath & Body Works website. The product was delivered on May 9, 2026. When the cream arrived, it had no seal or protective packaging, and the lid was already open. When I tried the product, I noticed that its texture was lumpy and that it left a noticeably sour, spoiled-like smell on my skin after application.

I contacted customer service both by email and by phone about this issue. In the email they sent me, they stated that the company does not use seals on its products due to its sustainability policy. They also said that, based on their investigation of this product, which had a manufacturing date of October 11, 2024 and was produced approximately one year and six months earlier, they found no signs of spoilage or manufacturing defects and therefore could not offer any assistance. However, as someone who actually used the product, I do not accept this response. The combination of the lumpy texture and the sour smell left on my skin after application makes me believe that the product is spoiled.

My Online Order Number is 798PU1178A. I would like to emphasize that the product is not usable in its current condition and that I do not want to put my health at risk. I am requesting a full refund for the Dark Kiss body cream and ask that the company reconsider its decision regarding this matter.
