On July 17, 2025, I made a one-night reservation through Booking.com for Blue Serenity Villa in Greece. A total of €231 was charged to my Garanti Bank credit card. About 15 minutes after making the reservation, I noticed that the booking included free cancellation, so I had to cancel the reservation. Despite this, my cancellation request was not accepted, and I was refunded only €15, while the remaining €216 has still not been refunded.
The confirmation number for my reservation is 666 0570999, and the PIN code is 1457. Even though I made the reservation relying on the free cancellation policy, I find it unfair and harmful that nearly the entire amount was withheld after cancellation. In addition, because Booking.com is a foreign company, I have been unable to reach any customer service phone numbers, and none of my calls have been returned, leaving me without any point of contact. I also tried to resolve the issue through PTT communication channels, but I was blocked, and as a result, I have been unable to solve this problem through any channel. To date, no refund has been credited to my card beyond the €15.
Even though I acted fully in accordance with the free cancellation terms, I am requesting that the remaining €216 (after deducting the €15 already refunded) from the total €231 be refunded to me in full as soon as possible, and that the hardship I have experienced be resolved.
