Fake Website Bypassed Bitdefender’s Anti-Phishing Protection

I purchased a Bitdefender security package that specifically advertised protection against fraudulent, phishing, and malicious links. Based on these assurances, I believed I would be warned if I encountered a dangerous or fake website designed to steal my information or money.
However, on December 4, I became the victim of a scam involving a fraudulent website that impersonated Sahibinden.com. The scammers directed me to a fake link that closely resembled the legitimate platform and convinced me to complete a transaction through that website. At no point during this process did Bitdefender display a warning, block the page, identify the site as suspicious, or notify me that I was entering a potentially fraudulent environment.
After the incident, I provided Bitdefender with documentation and evidence showing exactly what had happened. Despite this, I was informed that no action could be taken because the fraudulent link did not contain a detectable virus and because the transaction was completed with user approval. I was advised to contact law enforcement instead.
This response is extremely disappointing. If I had known that the website was fake, I obviously would not have approved any transaction. The entire purpose of purchasing security software that claims to protect users from fraudulent websites is to receive warnings before becoming a victim. In this case, the scammers successfully used a fake Sahibinden.com website, yet Bitdefender failed to identify the threat or provide any protection.
I am requesting a detailed explanation of why the fake website was not detected, how Bitdefender's anti-phishing and fraudulent link protection failed in this case, and what measures will be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future. I also expect Bitdefender to review my case thoroughly and provide a fair assessment of the protection that was promised versus the protection that was actually delivered.
As a paying customer, I purchased this service specifically to reduce the risk of falling victim to online fraud. The lack of warning in such a clear phishing scenario has significantly damaged my confidence in the product and its advertised security capabilities.
