I received a fraudulent email from the "hotel" demanding payment within 6 hours or my reservation would be canceled. I made the payment, but the email kept insisting I still needed to pay, and then money was illegally charged from my credit card!
The actual hotel then confirmed that my data had been compromised, and I had been scammed. Because of a data leak in Booking.com's systems, my credit card information was stolen, and I've lost €390 (approximately ₺13,800). This is completely unacceptable.
