On February 4, 2025, I booked a room at Grand Hostel Berlin Classic through Booking.com for March 6-8, 2025. Initially, I reserved a Double Room with a Shared Bathroom for 6,143₺, but within the first hour, I upgraded to a Double Room with a Private Bathroom by paying an additional 1,151₺, as per Booking.com's upgrade policy.
Despite my bank confirming the full payment was processed, Booking.com emailed me claiming that I had not paid and that my reservation would be canceled within 24 hours. I immediately contacted customer service via message, but never received a response.
Since Booking.com failed to assist me, I reached out to the hotel directly, and they confirmed that my reservation was valid and that I was booked for a Double Room with a Private Bathroom. Based on this confirmation, I assumed everything was fine. However, Booking.com still canceled my reservation and refused to refund my money!
I have proof of payment, email confirmations, and chat logs with the hotel, yet Booking.com’s customer service remains completely unresponsive. This is unacceptable!
I demand an immediate refund or reinstatement of my reservation. Booking.com, fix this issue now!
