Booking.com Didn’t Refund After Free Cancellation

On March 12, 2025, I booked a stay at Titanic Comfort Hotel Mitte through Booking.com for ₺17,496.45. I used my free cancellation right and canceled the reservation as allowed. Shortly after, I received an email from Booking.com confirming my refund had been processed and sent to my bank.

However, when I contacted my bank, they found no pending refund in their system. I emailed Booking.com multiple times, but all I received were vague, unhelpful responses stating that the refund had already been issued, without any explanation or proof.

To make things worse, I later discovered that Booking.com had actually charged my credit card ₺18,266.27 instead of ₺17,496.45, meaning I was overcharged as well.

As an international platform, Booking.com should not be causing these kinds of issues. I demand that my refund be processed immediately, and the overcharge be corrected. I will not use this site again if my issue is not resolved.
