Booking.com Canceled My Non-Refundable Hotel & Issued Partial Refund
I booked a non-refundable two-night stay in Rome through Booking.com, paying 166 EUR in total (100 EUR for the room + 66 EUR in taxes). However, despite never requesting a cancellation, my hotel reservation was canceled, and it falsely appeared as if I had initiated the cancellation myself.
To make things worse, I was informed via email that only 29.57 EUR would be refunded. Why am I losing money for a cancellation I did not request? This is completely unfair.
I demand a full refund since this was not my mistake. Booking.com must take responsibility for this issue and customer service should properly address my complaint instead of ignoring it.
