I made a reservation via Booking.com for Mellow Barcelona for the dates 3–13 December 2025, with free cancellation up to 5 days before check-in, as clearly stated in the reservation conditions. In line with this policy, I submitted my cancellation request on 28 November 2025, which was within the free cancellation period.
However, the property unfairly rejected my cancellation request, despite it being made on time and fully in accordance with the stated terms. Subsequently, an amount of ₺8,837.11 (€176.59) was charged to my credit card for this stay. When I contacted support regarding this charge, I was incorrectly informed that the free cancellation period had already expired.
This situation occurred solely because my timely cancellation request on 28 November 2025 was wrongfully refused by the property. I do not accept being held responsible for an error that was not caused by me.
My Booking.com reservation number is 5414662011. I respectfully request that the unfairly charged amount of ₺8,837.11 (€176.59) be fully refunded to my credit card and that this matter be reviewed carefully, as I fully complied with the free cancellation conditions stated at the time of booking.
