On Sunday, August 3, I booked a stay through Booking at Dante091 Hotel for a total of €136, which I paid with my credit card. However, shortly afterward, I received an email from Booking stating that my reservation had been rejected. Despite this cancellation, the payment of €136 was still withdrawn from my account. I confirmed the charge with my official bank statement.
I immediately contacted Booking customer service about the issue, but no solution was provided, and my refund has not been processed. Since my reservation was canceled, it is unacceptable that the money was taken and never returned. I am fully prepared to provide my payment receipt and any additional documents as proof.
This situation is extremely frustrating and unfair. Customers should not be forced to pay for services they never received.
I demand that Booking refund the €136 charged to my card without delay and ensure this type of issue does not happen again.
