Culver's Smoke Filtration Failure

I am writing to report a serious health and safety concern at the Culver's located at 722 S Sylvania Ave in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. On October 17, I visited this location and observed that the burger fryer and oil station were filling the kitchen area with a noticeable amount of smoke and haze. I spoke with Jon and Amanda about the situation, and Amanda informed me that the equipment is not filtering properly. The smoke was severe enough that it caused irritation to my throat, which raises concerns about the safety and comfort of both employees working in that environment and guests nearby. I have a short video of the incident; while the haze is somewhat difficult to capture clearly on video, it was very apparent and concerning in person. I do not believe this level of smoke is normal or acceptable for a food service environment. I am sharing this so that corporate is aware of the issue and can ensure the filtration and fryer systems at this location are inspected and repaired promptly, in order to protect the health and safety of staff and guests and to prevent any potential long-term equipment or air quality problems.
