Avis Ignored Booking.com's Full Protection Package and Charged Extra

During my recent car rental abroad through Avis via Booking.com, Avis refused to recognize the Full Protection package I purchased through Booking. Without any prior warning, Avis demanded an additional 50 euros, which they charged to me on the spot. When I reached out to Booking.com for assistance, they were entirely unhelpful and provided no support in resolving this issue.

I feel deceived by both companies and request a refund of the extra 50 euros I was unfairly charged. This unexpected charge and the lack of support from Booking.com have left me frustrated and disappointed with the service I received.
