Booking.com’s Full Protection Rejected by Europcar – Refund Request for Extra Charges
I rented a car through Booking.com (Reservation ID: 792795426) for the period of January 30, 2025 – February 4, 2025, and I also purchased the full protection package offered by Booking.com. However, when I arrived at Europcar, they refused to accept the protection package provided by Booking.com.
As a result, I had no choice but to purchase an additional protection package directly from Europcar, which cost me €340 extra. This situation is completely unacceptable, as I had already paid for protection through Booking.com, expecting it to be valid.
I am requesting a full refund of the €340 I was forced to pay due to this issue. I have attached all the relevant documents as proof.
The issue was resolved and a refund was made.
