I am writing to report an issue I experienced with a recent ride in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The driver arrived at the requested destination, but instead of completing the trip, he told me he wanted to go home, left without providing the service, and did not cancel the ride in the Bolt app. As a result, the trip has remained “ongoing” in my Bolt application. The ride was associated with a white Toyota Land Cruiser with car number 2202 GBS, and the driver’s name was A***. The pickup location was Wemart Hypermarket Al Khurais in Riyadh. Because the ride has been left active in the system, I am being charged an ongoing waiting fee of SR 0.50 per minute, even though I am not in the car and the service is not being used. This situation has caused financial inconvenience, as I am being charged both for a ride that was not completed and for continuing waiting time that is not my responsibility. I kindly request that this incident be urgently investigated, that the trip be terminated in your system, that the ongoing waiting charges be stopped immediately, and that all amounts wrongly deducted, including the ride fare and accumulated waiting fees, be fully refunded to my Mastercard. I also ask that my ride history and payment records be reviewed so that these incorrect charges can be corrected as soon as possible. I would appreciate your prompt review of this matter and a confirmation once the trip has been closed and the refund has been processed.
