My brand new 2022 BMW iX Xdrive40 experienced a steering box failure, which unfortunately left it completely inoperable. We brought our vehicle to the Borusan-authorized BMW service center in Denizli on October 9, 2023, to have a part replaced that was covered under warranty. During the service, it was found that the battery cooling water pump was also defective, which could pose a fire risk if the battery overheats during long trips. Unfortunately, due to the unavailability of spare parts, they notified us that the car would have to remain at the service center for an extended duration. Even though we asked for a new vehicle, Borusan Automotive has not given us the courtesy car they promised, despite a week of assurances. We are extremely disappointed and irritated by the complete absence of assistance, which has resulted in us feeling stranded and frustrated.
