In November 2023, I purchased a BMW i4 from Özgörkey in Turkey. Following this purchase, I encountered several issues, one of which was quite significant. Firstly, as the initial problem, it was stated before the purchase that the range would be approximately 590 km, but under normal conditions, it could drop to 490-500 km. The high range compared to other vehicles was one of the main factors in our decision to buy the car. However, after the purchase, during my travels to test the car, I unfortunately realized that I could never exceed 350-400 km. Even under the supervision of authorized services, we saw that the car couldn't exceed 435 km. However, even these figures were much lower than the stated ones. Secondly, I experienced a tire issue with the same car, and unfortunately, Borusan did not consider themselves responsible and directed me to the tire company. The tire company also did not resolve my problem by stating that the issue was not on their end but rather due to user error. Lastly, our car gave a drive malfunction on March 11, 2024, and after our discussion with Borusan, it was requested to be taken to the service. We left the car at the service and waited for about 15 days for the problem to be diagnosed. Approximately 12 days later, we were able to get a replacement vehicle. The service representatives stated that after 15 days, a cleaning material would arrive from Germany and cleaning would be done on a part with this material. They also mentioned that the arrival of this material would take 1-1.5 months. It is not convincing to me that it would take 1.5 months for a material to arrive in this era. The fact that a definitive solution to the problem that emerged in a brand new car was not clearly stated and being told that a solution could be reached in a period exceeding 2 months from the date I left the car for repair greatly disturbed and upset me as a loyal BMW customer. I have been a BMW user since 2007 and purchased the car without any doubt about achieving the stated range km. However, now, unfortunately, the fact that BMW cannot achieve the distances stated in its advertisements has created doubt in me as well. Furthermore, it is not acceptable to me that the repair time of my car exceeds 2 months in a brand like BMW. I request urgent attention to my problem and its immediate resolution, and if necessary, I request a replacement for my car under warranty.
