I’ve been a loyal BlaBlaCar user for 8 years, and I’m honestly shocked at how unfairly I was treated. Due to the app’s price cap limitations, I always try to keep my ride prices as low as possible—especially to help students and people facing financial hardship.
Because many riders still ask for discounts even at the minimum rate, I started writing “price is indicative” in the description to signal that I’m open to helping where I can. Unfortunately, one rider completely misinterpreted this and wrongly assumed I was asking for a higher price, then reported me.
As a result, my account was suspended—which is completely unjust. I wasn’t trying to overcharge anyone. On the contrary, I was trying to make rides more affordable.
BlaBlaCar, please review my case and lift the suspension. I’ve always used the platform respectfully and with good intentions.
