I installed the app, intending to offer shared rides. However, I was offered passengers going to locations outside my planned route. I then used the app to explain that I could take them if I received compensation for the extra distance, since they weren't departing from my starting point or going exactly to my destination. This was the only exchange about that; there was no other issue. Yet, my account was suspended!
This is completely unacceptable. I was trying to be flexible and helpful, using the platform's messaging system to discuss a reasonable adjustment, and now I'm being punished for it. It feels incredibly unfair to be banned for simply trying to communicate and accommodate riders' needs.
BlaBlaCar, you need to lift this suspension on my account immediately! This ban is unjustified and based on a misunderstanding of a legitimate in-app discussion. Restore my account now and clarify your policies on route flexibility and communication, instead of penalizing users for attempting to collaborate!
