Overcharge For Taxi Ride - BiTaksi
On June 10 at around 12:10 a.m., I used a Bitaksi yellow taxi from Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) to Sultanahmet. Before confirming the ride, the Bitaksi app showed an estimated fare between ₺1,594 and ₺1,984. However, at the end of the ride I was charged ₺4,730, which is far above the estimate and, in my view, an unjustifiable amount for this route and time. The vehicle’s plate number was 34 T** 33. I immediately reported this overcharge to Bitaksi through support. They replied that it would take a few days, but so far I have not received any concrete solution or correction, despite the clear discrepancy between the estimate and the amount charged. I request a full refund of the difference between the estimated range and the amount I was charged, correction of the ride details and date in your system if there is any error, and that necessary disciplinary action be taken against the driver to prevent similar situations from happening again.
