Complaint About BiTaksi Driver Cancelling Ride And Overcharging

I used the yellow taxi service via BiTaksi for a ride from Fly And Stay Airport Hotel to Pierre Loti Hotel and then to AHC Ayasofya Hotel (Special Class). Around 12:00 p.m., after I got into the taxi I had booked through the application, the driver cancelled the ride himself within the app. When we arrived, he requested ₺2,874 from me, even though the BiTaksi app showed an estimated fare of around ₺1,200, and I was forced to pay this amount. The vehicle’s plate number was 34 TPB 09. This is not the first time I have faced such an issue; I experienced a similar problem just the day before, and having it happen again has left me extremely disappointed and has seriously damaged my trust in using taxis in Turkey. I believe that cancelling the ride after the passenger gets in and then demanding more than double the price shown in the application is clearly against BiTaksi’s service policy and unfair to the customer. I have not yet contacted customer service directly, and I am sharing this situation here so that it can be formally recorded and examined. I request that this ride and payment be urgently investigated through the trip records in your system, that the unjust difference between the in‑app price and what I was forced to pay be refunded to me, and that necessary action be taken against the driver to prevent similar incidents from happening again. I also kindly request a prompt response to this complaint.
