I downloaded the BetterMe app on November 2, 2025, and deleted it the very same day because I found it completely unhelpful. I never signed up for any subscription, online coaching, or additional paid services. Yet on July 29, 2025, at 08:39, I received a bank notification showing a subscription charge from BetterMe. When I reviewed my statements, I was shocked to discover a total of ₺6,784.98 had been withdrawn from my card over time.
I immediately called my bank to file a transaction dispute and also emailed BetterMe support around 11:45 that same day. They refunded the most recent charge of ₺700, but that’s not enough. I followed up again via email requesting a full refund for all unauthorized subscription charges, and I also contacted their payment partner, Iyzico, with the same demand.
I’m now asking BetterMe to refund the entire amount charged without my knowledge or approval. This practice is deeply unethical, and I expect the company to resolve this issue quickly and transparently.
