Hello, I am the owner of the vehicle with license plate 25 L* 075, Yalçın G****. On December 1, 2023, my parked car was hit by a customer of Axa Insurance, resulting in an accident for which they were found 100% at fault. Claim file number 11340362 was opened. I sent my Diminished Value Claim and Notice-Warning letters to Axa Insurance via email on 23.02.2024 - 14.03.2024 and 16.04.2024. They replied stating they received them on the same day. However, since then, they have not sent me a detailed response email. Despite clearly stating my demands in my letter, such as compensation for the difference in value due to using equivalent parts instead of original ones, ten days of Replacement Car fees, and the cost of repairing the wheels due to hidden defects in the repair of my car, as well as the remaining difference from my market value loss claim, they have not sent me detailed invoices, receipts, or response letters, nor have they resolved my grievances. Axa Insurance has an ethical and legal obligation to respond to my letters.
In conclusion:
Apart from the Diminished Value compensation deposited into my account, which I contested, I want to know whether they will evaluate and deposit the compensation for hidden defect repair, actual damage balance compensation, and Replacement Car fees separately. If not, I will initiate legal action.
On April 16, 2024, I sent my Notice letter both by registered mail and email, yet I received a brief email referring to the deposited ₺28,643 without considering or responding to my Notice letter.
Due to the customer of Axa Insurance who hit my parked car:
My car was repaired with faults.
Only a meager amount of ₺28,643 was deposited into my account for a car with ₺46,647 in damages on March 7, 2024.
Despite being the victim, I was not taken seriously.
While insured customers receive proper compensation, I, as the actual victim, face discrimination.
Only ₺28,643 out of my total claim of ₺168,990 for Diminished Value, the difference in using equivalent parts, hidden defect repair, and Replacement Car fees has been covered. I will fight legally and socially until all my demands are met. When insuring your vehicle, choose a company with fewer complaints rather than one with more advertisements.
