As a result of a traffic accident that occurred on June 3, 2021, I filed a compensation claim with Axa under the compulsory traffic insurance policy number 41623478 for my vehicle with plate number 06BUC203. The Bolu 3rd Civil Court of First Instance, in case file 2021/152 E. – 2025/210 K., ruled in my favor for compensation. However, despite the ruling being within the scope of the insurance policy coverage, Axa has refused to make the payment, citing that “no payment will be made until the decision becomes final.” In my communications with both customer service and the legal department, I was told that the process is being delayed for the same reason, and in an email sent to me, they even suggested filing an appeal. This conduct has caused me significant inconvenience. I believe that Axa is failing to fulfill its legal obligations, acting contrary to the principles of honesty and policyholder protection stated in Article 32 of the Insurance Law No. 5684. I request that Axa promptly pay the compensation amount, including delay interest, to the relevant enforcement court account under the Bolu Enforcement Office file number 2022/11114.
