Asics Gel-Nimbus 26 Tore After Light Use—Refused to Admit Manufacturing Defect


I purchased the Asics Gel Nimbus 26 from the Hilltown store and wore it for a one-hour run on a treadmill the same day. To my surprise, the outer side of the right shoe tore, likely from coming into slight contact with the treadmill’s edge. I have been running on treadmills for 20 years with various shoes, and this is the first time I’ve experienced such poor quality.
I expected much better performance and durability from Asics, especially at this price point. I returned the shoe to the store for inspection, but my claim was rejected. I am deeply dissatisfied with both the product and the service. I demand a proper review of this issue and a replacement or refund.
