Asics Gel-Nimbus 26 Tore After Light Use—Refused to Admit Manufacturing Defect

I’ve now bought the Asics Gel-Nimbus 26 twice, and unbelievably, both pairs tore at the exact same spots after only a few wears. The first pair was from Amazon. Even though the return window had passed, they accepted it back after acknowledging it was a manufacturing defect.
Thinking it was just a one-off, I used that refund to buy the exact same model from a different, well-known sports store. I assumed there was no way lightning would strike twice. But guess what? The exact same issue happened again. The shoes started tearing from the toe area—just like the first pair.
I’ve owned countless running shoes over the years, including other Asics models, and have never experienced this kind of problem. I would understand if the shoes were worn out, but this happened within the first month of light use. That’s simply unacceptable for a premium product priced at this level.
It’s clear that this isn’t an isolated defect—numerous customer complaints online report the same problem. This points to a recurring issue in design or materials, and yet nothing seems to be done about it.
I want a full refund for this second pair as well. If a shoe that’s marketed for serious runners can’t survive a few light runs, then Asics has failed to deliver the quality they promise. At this point, I’ve lost trust in the Nimbus 26 model entirely, and I strongly urge Asics to address these defects publicly and take real action to stand by their customers.

I purchased a pair of Asics Gel-Nimbus 26 running shoes about 7 months ago, and I’ve worn them sparingly—only during races and occasional training runs. Despite this limited and careful use, the toe mesh area has already started tearing, and holes have formed in the front part of the shoe. I’ve log...
I purchased the Asics Gel-Nimbus 26, expecting premium quality, but the shoe’s left toe area tore at the glue point after just a few uses. This clearly reflects poor manufacturing quality. I promptly contacted the company, returned the defective product, and explained the issue in detail. Instead o...
I got myself a pair of Asics Gel-Nimbus 26 shoes, and after only two months of regular wear, they ended up ripping at the toe. What a letdown! I reached out to the company, and they totally shut me down on the refund, replacement, or any help at all. It's honestly such a letdown. I expected a lot fr...

The Asics Gel-Nimbus 26 running shoes I purchased completely fell apart in just one year—and I’m not talking about heavy-duty use. I run around 20K per week, which is considered light to moderate by any standard. What’s frustrating is that Asics promotes this shoe as a top-tier model built for profe...
