On May 25, I purchased a pair of Asics Novablast 5 running shoes from the Asics Hilltown AVM store for ₺6,999. I only used them carefully for city walking, never on rough terrain, dirt, or uneven roads. Despite this light use, within just 40 days the shoes developed serious problems — the sole began to collapse, and the upper section showed visible tears. For a premium shoe at this price, such a short lifespan is completely unacceptable.
I submitted the shoes for inspection twice (on July 9 and July 22). However, both times I received a standard report stating, “no production defect found,” and my request for a refund or exchange was rejected. As a loyal customer, this response was deeply frustrating because the defects clearly appeared under normal, careful use.
I cannot accept that a product I paid this much for has failed so quickly without any accountability from the brand. I demand that Asics reconsider my refund or replacement request and take responsibility for the poor durability of this product. Customers deserve reliability and support, especially when shoes fail this early.
