In May 2025, I purchased a pair of running shoes from the Asics store at Izmir Hilltown. I’ve only worn them for light walking a total of 5–6 times, yet there is already significant wear on the right heel area. This level of damage after minimal use clearly indicates a manufacturing defect.
I reported the issue to Asics, but my inspection request was outright rejected with the excuse of “user error.” That explanation makes no sense—no high-quality shoe should show this kind of deterioration so quickly. I've been using Asics tennis and running shoes for over 25 years, and this is the first time I’ve encountered such poor durability.
It’s disappointing to see that Asics no longer seems to care about customer satisfaction or standing behind the quality of its products. Instead of supporting loyal customers, they deflect responsibility.
I’m reserving my right to file a formal complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee. After this experience, I will no longer shop with Asics, and I’ll be sure to share my story with others to warn them as well. I expected better from a brand I trusted for decades.
