In May 2024, I purchased a pair of Asics Gel-Nimbus 26 shoes from the Sportive Mall of Istanbul store. Within less than a month of use, the fabric over my right big toe tore, exposing my toe. This isn’t the first time this has happened—I bought the same model previously, and within a month, the fabric over my left big toe tore. At that time, the store apologized, offered a replacement, and assured me that I could return the shoes if the issue happened again.
I’ve noticed that there are hundreds of similar complaints about the upper fabric tearing on forums. Why did you continue to sell a shoe with a known, chronic defect for ₺7300?
Now, I see that the shoes have been completely removed from your website. I purchased these shoes based on a recommendation after suffering a broken foot. Without even running or playing sports, the fabric tore after less than a month of wear. This situation has caused me significant inconvenience.
As a lawyer, I am extremely dissatisfied with this situation. While it’s possible the first issue was a fluke, experiencing the same problem twice indicates a serious defect. I expect this issue to be resolved immediately. Please do not make me wait a month for a replacement. My foot condition is serious, and this delay is unacceptable.
Please contact me as soon as possible to discuss how this will be resolved.
