Amazon's Lost Item and Lack of Communication

On July 25, 2023, I made a purchase, but its current whereabouts are unknown to me at this time. After making a request to return an item, I was advised that the reimbursement will be processed once the item was sent back to the store. However, there is no evidence of the product elsewhere. Regarding this matter, there is no one to communicate with at this time. A decision that should not have been made was to go with Amazon.
