Amazon's Disappointing Service - Order Canceled After 10 Days of Waiting

Amazon has seriously disappointed me. I am someone who always chooses to shop on Amazon, even if it means paying more. I placed an order on August 5th, and it was supposed to be delivered on August 16th. The order was confirmed, but they kept it for 10 days without shipping it. I trusted Amazon so much that I didn’t even check whether the order had been shipped. When I didn’t receive any messages from the courier company, I decided to check, only to find out that it hadn’t been shipped.
When I called customer service, they said they would urgently notify the warehouse. Two hours later, I received an email saying my order was canceled due to tax regulations coming into effect on August 21st. Today is August 16th. I placed my order on August 5th. What does not shipping the product for 10 days have to do with tax regulations? You hid behind tax regulations to cancel my order because you failed to ship the product on time. You kept me waiting and caused me financial loss. I was planning to build my PC tomorrow with the product I ordered, but you ruined all my plans.
When I called customer service, they admitted I was right, but this was a customer service experience unworthy of Amazon. The tax regulations coming into effect on August 21st have nothing to do with an order placed and confirmed on August 5th. I want everyone to know about this experience, and I will file complaints as much as possible. As a former Amazon fan, I’ve realized they are not what they seem, and people should know this.
