Amazon Turkey Should Match The Service Standards Of Other Countries
The orders placed on August 12th with order numbers 405-1544579-8173956 for Hatana Breathe Women's Shoes (Gray 37) and 405-1468455-5471511 for Columbia Shoes (42) were canceled without any notification from the company, which is completely illegal and unacceptable. These products were sold by Amazon Germany and Amazon US, meaning they were products sold directly by Amazon. After being offered these products as deals, including an import deposit, and making the payment, having the orders canceled without any prior notice is not acceptable. Furthermore, the initial cancellation email did not provide any information about why the orders were canceled. When I contacted customer service, they cited a newly changed customs law as the reason for the cancellation. However, this law was already in place when I made the order. If they offered these products to me as deals and showed the price including the import deposit, I made the payment believing that I could receive these products. Moreover, I made this payment in installments. As of 16:09 on August 15th, the related products are still listed as available for sale. I will be unfairly impacted by this situation, as I will have a blocked credit limit for six more months due to this issue caused solely by Amazon. This is unacceptable. Especially considering that two days after placing the order, I contacted customer service to inquire if there was any problem and was informed that there was not, only to have the order canceled later. This is an insult to my intelligence. On top of that, during the call after the cancellation, the argument presented to me that the products were canceled because they didn't want me to wait is utterly absurd and the final straw. I demand that Amazon immediately reverse the cancellation and send the products to me. For instance, as a suggestion, they could purchase the same products from Columbia Turkey and send them to me. I wouldn’t mind whether they came from Germany or the USA.
